INSTALLATION

This folder contains a single subfolder named "SOUND". Simply delete the current sound folder inside your FS aircraft and replace it with this new one.

Select "YES" or "YES TO ALL" in response to any installation prompts.

The AIRCRAFT.CFG file for each L1011 must also be edited as follows

1. Open the AIRCRAFT.CFG file for each L1011 aircraft and identify the section named as follows :-

[GeneralEngineData]

2. Identify the data line which reads as follows :-

min_throttle_limit = -0.299927

3. Edit this MIN THROTTLE LIMIT data line to read precisely as follows :-

min_throttle_limit = -0.499927

The completed/edit GENERAL ENGINE DATA section should then appear precisely as follows :-

[GeneralEngineData]
//0=Piston, 1=Jet, 2=None, 3=Helo-Turbine, 4=Rocket, 5=Turboprop
engine_type = 1
fuel_flow_scalar = 0.77
min_throttle_limit = -0.499927
engine.0 = 0, -35.65, -3.4,
engine.1 = -76, 0, 10,
engine.2 = 0, 35.65, -3.4,

PLEASE NOTE .... in the interest of avoiding typographical errors it is highly recommended the the above edits be copied & pasted to the CFG file

SOUND SETTING RECOMMENDATIONS

For best overall audio quality set your FS sound sliders as follows :-

"ENGINES" = 70 %

"ENVIRONMENT" = 85%

PLEASE NOTE: For best audio quality a dedicated sound card is recommended. Audio quality will vary between systems and devices. Sound settings are a matter of personal preference. Experiment with the above recommended settings first then adjust to your particular preference.

ENJOY !
