Mosquito Texture files for Paint Shop Pro (5.81MB). These files will make re-paints of our Mosquitoes much easier. Because these files use the "Layering" technique (as described in our Tutorial) all you'll have to do is the painting, and won't have to worry about the Rivets and Lines.

| CFS2 Lockheed P-38L-5-LO (3.28MB) of MAJ GERALD R. "JERRY" JOHNSON, Deputy CO, 49th FG, Biak, October 1944. Multi-MDL FSDS aircraft by Gryphon Aviation. Air file by the 714th 1% Flight Test Center.
The P-38L was thought by many to be "one of the best all-around fighters" of the Second World War. Range, speed, ceiling, agility, and firepower... The was equipped with aileron boost giving it one of the best roll rates of any fighter and "Dive Brakes" ("D" key) enabling the aircraft to pull out dives after it had entered compressibility. They were also a great assist in dogfighting.
This aircraft was flown my MAJ Gerald R. "Jerry" Johnson while he was the deputy commander of the 49th FG at Biak in October 1944. The pre-war style tail stripes were common in several fighter squadrons in the South Pacific. Other Repaints Here |
