Introduction
These are
scenery files for FS2002 & FS2000. The entire continental USA is covered
in 53 geographical sections. Alaska is one section, but is split up into
11 parts to simplify downloading. The resolution of these files is one
arc-second, or 30m. However, see http://edcwww.cr.usgs.gov/glis/hyper/guide/1_dgr_dem
for a discussion on the relative accuracy of the source data. These scenery
files were generated from original USGS (United States Geological Survey)
DEM data downloaded from ftp://edcftp.cr.usgs.gov/pub/data/DEM/250.
The complete scenery set is about 490MB
