FS2004 Comet 4C Misrair Textures only. Misrair was formed in 1931 and ordered Comet 4C aircraft to replace Viscounts. SU-ALD was delivered in June 1960 passing to United Arab Airlines in December that year. It crashed near Bombay on 28 July 1963. FS2004 Comet 4C EgyptAir (UAA livery) Textures only. Formerly Misrair and latterly United Arab Airlines, Egyptair took up its present title in 1971 although the transitional livery was still that worn by Misrair at the beginning of Comet operations. SU-ALL was delivered to UAA in June 1961 and served with them and Egyptair until October 1976 when it was sold to Dan Air for spares. FS2004 Comet 4 BOAC/Kuwait Airways Textures only. BOAC Comet 4 G-APDS on short term lease to Kuwait Airways for the winter 1965/66. This machine was sold to the Ministry of Defence in January 1969 as XW626 for use by the A&AEE. It was later converted to test the aerodynamics of the Nimrod AEW3. FS2004 Comet 4 MSA/Malaysian Textures only. 9V-SAU is shown here in a strange mix of liveries. It is wearing the later MSA livery and has been re-registered in Singapore but has the former Malaysian titles. This aircraft started out as G-APDE with BOAC before sale to Malaysian in October 1965 as 9M-AOE. After serving with MSA as 9V-BAU it was sold to Dan Air as G-APDE and after lease as 5Y-ALF with East African Airways and further use by Dan Air, was withdrawn in April 1973 and broken up the same month. FS2004 Comet 4 Malaysia-Singapore Airlines Textures only. Delivered to BOAC in May 1957 as G-APDA, this was the first Comet 4 to be built. In November 1965 it became 9M-AOA with Malasian Airways until that airline's almalgamation with Singapore Airways on 30 December 1966. With a modified Malaysian livery and with new MSA titles it was placed on the Singapore register as 9V-BAS. In Nov 1969 it was sold to Dan Air for spares and adopting G-APDA once more flew to Lasham for storage. FS2004 Comet 4 Malaysian Airways Textures only. Malaysian used Comets quite extensively using leased aircraft from BOAC and then buying the first five aircraft in the BOAC fleet. This one started out as G-APDD being delivered to the Corporation in November 1958. Acquired my Malaysian as 9M-AOD in November 1965 it was transferred to Malaysian Singapore Airlines as of December 30 1966. Service with the new almalgamated carrier lasted until November 1969 when in was sold to Dan Air and reverted to G-APDD. After spending some time on lease to East African Airlines as 5Y-AMT is was withdrawn after making it's last Dan Air flight in August 1972. It was broken up at Lasham in March of the following year. FS2004 Comet 4 BOAC/Malaysian Airways Textures only. BOAC Comet 4 G-APDT on short term lease to Malaysian Airways. This aircraft was later leased to Mexicana from 1965 until 1969. On returning to BOAC it spent many years as a training aircraft for BOAC and BA before expiring on the Heathrow fire dump.
