Flown in active service by the US Army Air Corp, Navy and Marine Corp 1931 to 1941. Navy and Marine designation F4B. Theatre U.S., Panama Canal Zone and Hawaii. Navy carrier service in Pacific. 1 X .30 cal mg and 1 X .50 cal mg. Engine: Pratt & Whitney R-1340 Wasp. A total of 586 of all model variants produced. CFS 1 COMMONEWALTH AIRCRAFT CORPORATION (CAC) P-51D MUSTANG MK. 23 INTRODUCTION The Mustang was operated in Australia immediately after World War 2. One squadron had operated in Italy during that war, RAAF 3 Squadron. Many Australians flew Mustangs in RAF squadrons too. Post war, Australia purchased and manufactured Mustangs to serve on the home front, equiping front line fighter squadrons and reserve units. This example A68-750, served in the Korean war with 77 Squadron. The aircraft survived the war and was famous for its shark mouth. CFS1 Nakajima Ki-27. Full moving parts and in the colors of the 4th Chutai, 11th Sentai along Manchurian/Mongolian border in 1939. Allied code name "NATE" and JAAF first all metal monoplane. Front line combat duty against Chinese and Soviet forces after the Nomonhan Incident in 1939. Principal antagonist against the P-40's of the famed AVG "Flying Tigers" in China. Nakajima-Ki-43-IIa for CFS1. Full moving parts and in the colors of the 3rd Chutai / 64th Sentai, Burma. Allied code name "Oscar" the Ki-43-II series was the most numerous JAAF fighter plane. Even though it was considered obsolete, most of Japan's Army aces gained their scores flying the "Oscar" / Hayabusa which were equipped with combat maneuver flaps and was a more efficient turn fighter than the "Zero". 2 X 12.7mm MG's. P51D Mustang "Detroit Miss" For CFS 1/CFS 2/FS2000 This Aircraft represents the P-51D "DETROIT MISS" Flown by LT. Drew. In October of 1944 Drew was flying with wingman McCandless when he spotted two Me-262 Schwalbe's taking off. The first Me 262 exploded when hit by the .50s of "Detroit Miss" Lt. CFS "Zone Devils" Sea Fury Racer This is a modified Hawker Sea Fury racing plane. This was modified in order to get more speed so it could be flown on some of the available race track sceneries for CFS. We even put a faster paintjob on it!
