FS2000 Aeroworks Concept-4

Model #: ARX-4A
Registration: N4JT

*******Requires Professional Edition FS2000. If ran through FS2000 Standard Edition you may notice the abscence of some gauges!!!!!!!

This project started as a spur of the moment thing. I was painting my TR-3A (not released as of 2/19/01) and flying it one day when I decided to go for a VFR hop in the ARX-3 Raptor, somehow on a LONG cross-country flight I got the crazy idea that it would look good as a helicopter, and the rest is history.

No major flying tips on this craft, it's pretty self explanatory (provided that you can fly heli's!) and has typical helicopter flight dynamics.

One thing about flying it that some people may not know, and I must say this because I run an Aerobatic website, is that this helicopter (and others) can actually do an aileron roll (although I don't want to call it that since it doesn't have ailerons) To do this: go to the Aircraft menu of FS2000 and click on Realism Settings. When the dialog box opens look under the section "Flight Model" and move the slider that says "GENERAL" all the way to the "REAL" setting. You really don't need to mess with the other sliders for this helicopter, but for aerobatics in fixed wing aircraft, I STRONLGY recommend that you move all of them to "REAL" It takes some getting used to even if you fly helis alot in FS I would try them about a mile up and mess with the throttle settings (so you don't go DOWN when inverted) and the tail rotors (so you wont go WAY OFF you heading). The key is to not stay inverted very long, just roll straight through and if you do everything right,...you wont lose too much altitude, and eventually you will get to where you can roll this thing right over the runway!

HAVE FUN!
