The Concept I is a sport glider with two models. It was originally created early in 2000 with BAO's Flight Shop (Aircraft Factory 5)  and designed for FS98/FS2000.

The Model A is a straight forward non-powered glider.

The Model B is identical to the A, only with a 100hp Rotax 912S on a dorsal mounted nacelle.

Designer's Comments:
The Concept I is the actually second concept plane I created with the intent to release. The true first concept is the Raptor, but for some reason I couldnt see it being the first release so I filled in the gaps with the ARX-1 and ARX-2.  Both models of the ARX-1 as well as the ARX-2 were created side by side at the same time.

Originally the Concept I was only going to be a powered model, because I had little interest in unpowered gliders. But since the hard part was the time spent in the powerplant, i realized early on that it would be very easy to modify it back to being a true non-powered glider as well.

Notes:

  • Because it is so old, there are plans to update the ARX-1A & B as well as the addition of a new model, the ARX-1C sometime this year or next.
