Military Installations
Borealis is the main military
establishment for production aircraft, occasionally some prototype aircraft
do travel this far north from Nevada. It's purpose is military missions
and acts very much the same as a normal AFB except that it is outside the
scope of the US Govt. It is very much like Groom Lake or Tonopah
Test Range in the real world.

The Legendary
Facility 3! This is the main flight research center. It began as
a joint civilian-military establishment nicknamed Area-A. However during
2004 it became a pure military installation with very little civilian activity
lmited only to being an alternate site for the space projects. This is
where most prototype military concepts are tested.

Unlike Facility 3, this base has always been a military installation. Facility
4 is to weapons what Facility 3 is to aircraft, thus it is located only
25nm north of Facility 3 and borders on the Railroad Valley Staging Area.

Base

the north side for arming aircraft and a massive weapons cache and a weapons
